Worm infestation is a common health hazard that has disrupted many a life. In India alone, worm infection has been estimated to have affected more than 22 crore children aged between 1 to 16 in 2016, according to World Health Organization.
The National Deworming Day is an initiative of Ministry of Health and Family welfare, Govt of India, to make every child in the country worm free.
On 10th February 2020 we have the National Deworming Day which is held in every 6 months. Students of class 1 to 9 and 11 are required to get the consent form signed by their parents and return it to class teacher on 10th February.
Students of 9th and 11th whose parents would give consent for deworming should stay back after the exam on 10th February They should carry their lunch box and water bottle as the deworming medicine should be administered after the lunch break. Any student who is sick or suffering from any chronic disease should not take the medicine.
Hoping for your whole hearted co-operation.
